“Our kindergarten experience instils an excitement and passion for learning and discovery, and prepares our pupils for their Primary School education.”
Lernen
Our Kindergarten curriculum is taught in a truly bilingual setting, immersing children in an equal balance of English and German language. The curriculum establishes different learning goals that are adapted to the individual needs of our pupils.
Children in our Kindergarten already start to learn reading, writing and mathematical skills to ensure they enter our Primary School with a solid foundation on which to build a strong educational journey.
Children are taught through a mixture of structured lessons and discovery play to encourage an inquisitive mind and a love of learning. A rich background of real life experiences is fundamental for children to have meaningful learning opportunities.
Singing, field trips, arts and crafts, books, science experiments, among other activities, will give children a range of experiences upon which they can connect their learning and progress through our Early Learning Goals.
Our children benefit from working with a large Kindergarten team. Our dedicated classroom assistants work with the children through the whole day, and as such, can form meaningful relationships with each child, helping them learn and grow as an individual.
Our Kindergarten experience instils an excitement and passion for learning and discovery, and prepares our pupils for their Primary School education.
Ausserschulisches Lernen
A key part of Kindergarten life is our Forest Day. Every week, all year round, our teachers take their lessons outdoors. Learning outside the classroom supports the development of healthy and active lifestyles, gives the children contact with the natural world, and helps them to understand and respect nature.
